Plastic tubes and pots and pans, bits and pieces and the magic from the hand, we’re makin’ weird science

Happy Thursday!

This week’s post is all about SCIENCE! Thank you to everyone for participating in our very first double campus Science Fair! Children spent the week in our Mad Science unit engaging in a variety of projects.

Here are some pics (scroll down to the very bottom for an update on the new unit!):

During the final days of May and the first of June, children are exploring Wild Animals! They will be studying animals and their habitats, including deserts, rainforests, ponds and forests. Children will learn to name the animals they know and will learn how each animal’s body helps it to survive on earth. Along with other facts about animals, they will be learning concepts like long/short and big/small. Older children will be graphing their favorite animals using a bar graph and Venn diagram.

The letters of the week are lowercase n and e.
