Testing…Testing 1..2..

Good afternoon, Tudorka – Class of 2019. It’s a pleasure to see such an illustrious group of children graduate today. It is my honor and privilege to stand before you to help usher you into the next chapter of your lives.
Many of you started out at Tudorka when you were just a few months old. You probably couldn’t walk or talk yet. You didn’t know your A-B-Cs or what color a duck or a frog were. It’s been a long road and many tears but I stand (figuratively) here today in front of you upstanding young people who can not only walk, but JUMP and SKIP! You can sing the alphabet song in Spanish! You have advanced from bottles to sippy cups. Bravo!
You are about to embark on a very exciting time in your lives. It might feel a little scary to move on to something new. But just remember – you can do it. When you were a crawling, slobbery baby, you probably had no idea you’d know how to walk and talk. Can you imagine? Learning an entirely new mode of transportation! And in a span of a few short years, you’ve learned and become fluent in a whole new language. Who knew the transition from babbling to English could be so seamless? If you can do those things, you can learn to ride a two wheeler, master (common core?) math, and figure our how to tie your shoes.
So kids, I leave you with a few things:
Tudorka’s mascot is the owl. So too, will you soar off into the vast horizon. May you also be wise and a hoot!
Congratulations!!
