Happy Friday and happy two weeks down in the new school year! Just a reminder that today is an early pick-up day at 1pm. We are closed Monday for Labor Day.

Now that we’re back, here’s how the first part of September is shaking out:

During the first weeks of September, we welcome your child to our school with a unit that celebrates “Back to school!” They will talk about how school is a place to play, learn, and grow! Back to school activities include the story, “The Kissing Hand”, the song “Look who came to school today” and some special ‘back to school’ crafts. Letter of the week is upper case A, M.

Mid- September we will focus on a unit, “All About Autumn. The first day of autumn is on September 22. Children will collect leaves, observe the earth changing for the fall season. Preschoolers will compare the colors of leaves when they change. Children will do various activities with an emphasis on the Fall season. Collecting Counting and sorting leaves is what we love to do during the fall. “Letters of the week Tt. Ss.

Don’t forget to sign up for this fall’s extra curricular activities! Yoga and Soccer Shots will be starting soon.
