Happy Friday, everyone!
Today we are happy to share a recap of last week’s wonderful Pets & Vets curriculum. All three sites participated with students learning, discussing and observing all things pets and how to take care of them.
After the photos, please read on for updates on our Earthquake Drill and Costume Swap.
The Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill
At 10:16 a.m. on October 16, our Mountain and Campus sites will be participating in the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill. This is an national event in which schools, businesses and other organizations talk about the “befores and afters” of an earthquake and conduct a drill. To date, 24.5 million people/organizations have registered as participants.
Students at the Tudorka Tots sites will play a “game” in which they respond to a drill then Drop, Cover and Hold On!
This is important information for all of us to consider. If you haven’t already, please check out this form on what to do in the event of an earthquake. Be prepared!
Costume Swap!
And now, one last and final tidbit! Don’t forget about our first Annual Tudorka Tots Costume Swap today from 6-7 p.m. at our Campus site, 12000 Campus Drive.
Update to event: Dinner will be served!
Also, please feel free to invite friends, family and neighbors.
Here is a link to our first blog post about the event. Forward on to anyone who might be interested. We hope to see you there!
Have a great weekend!
