Happy Thanksgiving Eve, everyone!
Hope you’re excited for the holiday and long weekend ahead! Today we have a special treat for you. Have you ever tried to serve your Tudorka Tot mashed potatoes, only for them to be rejected because of the missing “red sauce?”
Me, too!
Just in time for Thanksgiving, we’ve solved the mystery. Here, for your T-day menu delight is the recipe for the beloved TT red sauce served over mashed potatoes:
Ingredients:
2 large cans of stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
garlic minced
onion finely diced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
pepper
6 Tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, saute onions and garlic over medium heat
2. Mix in tomatoes, sauce, and spices.
3. Reduce heat, simmer for 30 minutes
4. Blend with hand mixer and serve over mashed potatoes and stuffed bell peppers
